Foundational Faith:

God’s Love:

     I Corinthians 13:8  Love never fails…

Lifestyle Change:

     2^nd Corinthians 5: ¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things^[f] have come. (hcsb))..
     Romans 12:2 ² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (niv)

Getting Rid of Sin:
      Isaiah 59:2 - But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have made Him hide His face from you so that He does not listen. (hcsb)
      I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”

Loving God:

Matthew 22:36-38

^“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” ³⁷ Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’^{[c] 38} This is the first and greatest commandment.(niv)

Why is it so important?

Deuteronomy 10:12-13

¹² “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you except to fear the Lord your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, and to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul? ¹³ Keep the Lord’s commands and statutes I am giving you today, for your own good. (hcsb)
